【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportisintendedtoprovideinformationtodesigners,regulatorsandfiresafetyprofessionalsontheengineeringmethodsavailableforevacuationstrategiesinrelationtotheevaluationoflifesafetyaspectsofafiresafetyengineeringdesign.Informationispresentedontheevaluation,quantificationandmanagementofoccupantbehaviour,particularlyescapebehaviour,duringafireemergency.ThisTechnicalReportaddressestheparametersthatunderliethebasicprinciplesofdesigningforlifesafetyandprovidesinformationontheprocesses,assessmentsandcalculationsnecessarytodeterminethelocationandconditionoftheoccupantsofthebuilding,withrespecttotime.ThisTechnicalReportprovidesinformationonmethodsforthequantificationofthedifferentaspectsofhumanevacuationbehaviourinadesigncontext.ItisintendedforusetogetherwiththepartsofISO/TR13387andassociatedguidancedocumentsandstandards.Theseprovidesomeoftheinformationusefulinperformingalifesafetyevaluationandameansforincorporatingtheresultsofthelifesafetyevaluationintothewideraspectsofafiresafetyengineeringdesign.Theuseoflifts(elevators)inemergencyevacuationsisnotdealtwithinthisTechnicalReport.
