【摘要】:Themostprevalentofthefiveradiumisotopesingroundwater,havingahalflifegreaterthanoneday,are226Raand228Ra.Thesetwoisotopesalsopresentthegreatesthealthriskcomparedtotheothernaturallyoccurringnuclidesofequalconcentrationsifingestedviathewaterpathway.Althoughprimarilyutilizedonawatermedium,thistechniquemaybeapplicableforthemeasurementofthe226Racontentofanymediaoncethemediumhasbeencompletelydecomposedandputintoanaqueoussolution.Thegeneralmethodologyandbasisofthistechniquearesimilartothemethodologyx201C;226RainDrinkingWater(RadonEmanationTechnique)x201D;asdescribedinthedocumentEPA-600//4-80-032.51.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofsoluble,suspended,andtotalradium-226inwaterinconcentrationsabove3.7103Bq/L.Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletothemeasurementofotherradiumisotopes.1.2Thistestmethodmaybeusedforquantitativemeasurementsbycalibratingwitharadium-226standard,orforrelativemeasurementsbycomparingthemeasurementsmadewitheachother.1.3ThistestmethoddoesnotmeetthecurrentrequirementsofPracticeD2777.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Hydrofluoricacid(HF)isveryhazardousandshouldbeusedinawell-ventilatedhood.Wearrubbergloves,safetyglassesorgoggles,andalaboratorycoat.AvoidbreathinganyHFfumes.CleanupallspillspromptlyandwashthoroughlyafterusingHF.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressalloftheothersafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
