【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverspolyphthalamidematerialssuitableforinjectionmolding.Thepropertiesincludedinthisspecificationarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.ThesemaybespecifiedbyusingsuffixesasgiveninSection.Thisspecificationallowsfortheuseofrecycledmaterialsprovidedthatallspecificationrequirementsaremet.Thisspecificationisintendedtobeameansofcallingoutplasticsmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticsfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,theinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisspecification,andtheeconomics.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard(seeIEEE/ASTMSI-10).Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section12,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninNote6.Note2-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
