【摘要】:ThispracticeisintendedtobeusedbytheNDTusingorganizationtomeasurethebaselineperformanceoftheDDAandtomonitoritsperformancethroughoutitsserviceasanNDTimagingsystem.ItistobeunderstoodthattheDDAhasalreadybeenselectedandpurchasedbytheuserfromamanufacturerbasedontheinspectionneedsathand.Thispracticeisnotintendedtobeusedasanx201C;acceptancetestx201D;oftheDDA,butrathertoestablishaperformancebaselinethatwillenableperiodicperformancetrackingwhilein-service.AlthoughmanyofthepropertieslistedinthisstandardhavesimilarmetricstothosefoundinPracticeE2597,datacollectionmethodsarenotidentical,andcomparisonsamongvaluesacquiredwitheachstandardshouldnotbemade.Thispracticedefinestheteststobeperformedandrequiredintervals.AlsodefinedarethemethodsoftabulatingresultsthatDDAuserswillcompletefollowinginitialbaseliningoftheDDAsystem.ThesetestswillalsobeperformedperiodicallyatthestatedrequiredintervalstoevaluatetheDDAsystemtodetermineifthesystemremainswithinacceptableoperationallimitsasestablishedinthispracticeordefinedbetweenuserandcustomer(CEO).ThereareseveralfactorsthataffectthequalityofaDDAimageincludingthespatialresolution,geometricalunsharpness,scatter,signaltonoiseratio,contrastsensitivity(contrast/noiseratio),imagelag,andburnin.Thereareseveraladditionalfactorsandsettings(forexample,integrationtime,detectorparametersorimagingsoftware),whichaffecttheseresults.Additionally,calibrationtechniquesmayalsohaveanimpactonthequalityoftheimage.ThispracticedelineatestestsforeachofthepropertieslistedhereinandestablishesstandardtechniquesforassuringrepeatabilitythroughoutthelifecycletestingoftheDDA.1.1ThispracticedescribestheevaluationofDDAsystemsforindustrialradiology.Itisintendedtoensurethattheevaluationofimagequality,asfarasthisisinfluencedbytheDDAsystem,meetstheneedsofusers,andtheircustomers,andenablesprocesscontrolandlongtermstabilityoftheDDAsystem.1.2ThispracticespecifiesthefundamentalparametersofDigitalDetectorArray(DDA)systemstobemeasuredtodeterminebaselineperformance,andtotrackthelongtermstabilityoftheDDAsystem.1.3TheDDAsystemperformancetestsspecifiedinthispracticeshallbecompleteduponacceptanceofthesystemfromthemanufacturerandatintervalsspecifiedinthispracticetomonitorlongtermstabilityofthesystem.Theintentofthesetestsistomonitorthesystemperformancefordegradationandtoidentifywhenanactionneedstobetakenwhenthesystemdegradesbyacertainlevel.1.4Theuseofthegagesprovidedinthisstandardismandatoryforeachtest.Intheeventthesetestsorgagesarenotsufficient,theuser,incoordinationwiththecognizantengineeringorganization(CEO)maydevelopadditionalormodifiedtests,testobjects,gages,orimagequalityindicatorstoevaluatetheDDAsystem.AcceptancelevelsfortheseALTERNATEtestsshallbedeterminedbyagreementbetweentheuser,CEOandmanufacturer.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
